March 7 – UNR Nevada

seniors
with a 2.75 GPA or higher are invited to fly to Reno to visit the UNR Campus. Cost is $99 and includes airfare,
shuttle service, campus tour, lunch, residence hall tour, and a visit with
academic representatives and current UNR students from Las Vegas.
- Students
must complete the trip application form available in High School
Counseling offices, which includes parent authorization. Also include a check for $99 payable to
“Board of Regents” and a high school transcript. Mail to:

April 1-6 - 12th Annual HBCU

Spring Break
College Tour

CCSD students are invited to participate in the
12th Annual Spring Break Tour.
Students will visit Clark-Atlanta, Morehouse, Morris Brown, Spelman, Fort Valley State, Alabama State, Tuskegee, Florida A & M (GA), Alabama,
and the University
of Florida.

Cost for 6 days/5 nights is $950/student. This includes airfare, deluxe coach travel,
hotel accommodations, campus tours, nightly college prep seminars, and evening
tours of historical attractions.
Interested students must pay a $200, non-refundable deposit to reserve a
seat. Seats are limited and will be
based on a first-come, first-serve basis.

April 2-5 – 2007 American Indian
College Tour

Eligible American Indian and Alaska Native CCSD
high school students (grades 9-12) are invited to participate in the American
Indian College Tour. Students must
verify eligibility before completing the application process. To do so, contact 799-8515 or indianeducation@interact.ccsd.net. The deadline to complete the application for
the tour is December
15, 2006.

This tour will include visits to the following
colleges/universities: UNR, Humboldt State (CA), UC-Davis, UC-Berkeley, Stanford University, CSU-Fresno. Contact the Equity & Diversity Education
