College Tuition and the Millennium
Scholarship
Based on current tuition rates, seniors who qualify for the Millennium Scholarship will pay from
$45.00 to $54.00 out-of-pocket expense for each three credit college
course. Thus, students are strongly
encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in
order to apply for federal student aid.
Parents and students may complete the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. In addition, students are encouraged to apply
for local, state, and national scholarships to supplement the cost of college
attendance. An updated list of
scholarships may be found at www.ccsd.net/cpd/guidance_counseling/. Finally, students who do not score a
composite score of 21 on the ACT or a 1020 combined score on the SAT are
encouraged to retake the test(s), as the Millennium Scholarship will no longer
pay for remedial coursework at the college level.
