PVHS
has entered into 2 printer cartridge recycling fund
raisers. The first one in which we are involved mostly
caters to laser cartridges, just bring any laser cartridge
or old cell phone to school and drop it off in rm 701.
The second program is for ink jet cartridges only. The
company is called Recycling Emerald, and they give us $3.00
for each of the following makes and models of cartridges:
All
Hewlett Packard Ink Jet Cartridges,
All
Lexmark Ink Jet Cartridges,
Cannon
BC01/02/05, BC20, and BX Ink Jet Cartridges,
and
All Compaq Ink Jet Cartridges.
This
fund raiser makes things a little easier for us because
of prepaid, pre-labeled small shipping boxes that any
business can use as a display to help our school. They
simply put the box out for their customers to see and
fill, and when the box is full, they seal it and give
it to the UPS man for shipping to Emerald. Since it
is already labeled with our school name, when Emerald
receives it, they will give the credit to our school.
So, parents and friends, if you have a place in mind
to put one of these boxes, maybe even a break room at work,
just have your child come to Room 701 and ask for a
display box. There is no cost to you, we only
ask that when the box is full, you seal it and give it to
UPS. Also, please remember, we are still accepting
all other laser and ink jet cartridges, as well as,
old cellular phones for our other cartridge fund raiser.
