JOB DESCRIPTION:
The position of Special Education Instructional Facilitator requires Mrs. Davey to actively support individual schools to ensure that the educational needs of students with disabilities are appropriately addressed in compliance with District Procedures and applicable Federal and State Laws. She reports directly to the site administrator, but communicates and collaborates with SSSD Region Teams to maintain up-to-date information and other assistance as necessary to provide appropriate services to students with disabilities. She also serves as a resource to the school administration and staff regarding best practices, compliance issues and IEP development.
