Common Ailments

The goal is to keep students in school as much as possible, but if a student is not feeling well it is difficult to benefit from classroom instruction. Also, he or she may be contagious to other students. If the following signs and symptoms are present, your child should be kept home:

  1. Elevated temperature (100 degrees or above)
  2. Nausea/vomiting
  3. Diarrhea
  4. Unexplained rash
  5. Persistent headache
  6. Wheezing
  7. Inflamed sore throat
  8. Earache

You may want to contact your health care provider if symptoms persist.
