CRITERIA FOR NOMINATIONS

  • The record or contribution of the individual or team must be so outstanding that there is no question as to qualifying for the Hall of Fame.

  1. Palo Verde High School Athlete

  2. Minimum of five (5) years since graduation from Palo Verde High School.

  3. Must have earned at least one (1) varsity letter.

           B. Palo Verde Coach, Teacher, Administrator, Staff Member, or Official.

  1. Minimum of two (2) years after leaving Palo Verde High School

  2. The contribution may be significant in quality, time, or a contribution of both.

           C. Member of the Community

  1. Significant contribution to the Palo Verde High School athletic program.

  2. The contribution may be significant in quality, time, or both.

           D. Palo Verde High School Team

  1. The accomplishment(s) of the team must be able to stand the test of time in order to fairly compare the success of the team to other Palo Verde High School teams in interscholastic competition.

  2. A minimum of five (5) years must have passed since the completion of the season.

           E. Character

  1. The Selection Committee will carefully consider the citizenship of the nominee in all categories. (except in cases of team recognition)

  2. The nominee must be considered a good citizen and role model for the youth of our community.
