I grew up in the small towns of Gering & Scottsbluff, Nebraska.

I got my bachelor's degree in Art Education at the University of Nebraska.  After college, I lived in Denver, Colorado for 5 years.

I’ve been living in Las Vegas since 2005. I got my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction at UNLV.

I have been teaching art since 2000.

Over my time I have instructed a variety of art disciplines;

beginning art, drawing, painting, graphic design, ceramics, advanced placement,  and both film and digital photography.

I came to Palo Verde High School in 2015. 

Some favorite activities include;

hiking, biking, rafting, indoor climbing, camping, disc golf, reading, cooking, fine and performing arts.
