BECOME A VOLUNTEER AT PALO VERDE HS:
We love having families and individuals involved on campus, and there are so many exciting ways you can help - from classroom support and field trips to fun events.

CCSD VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS:
All volunteers are required to have a current CCSD - Issued volunteer badge, which includes completing a background check and RENEWING THE BADGE ANNUALLY.
This helps us ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students.
NEW VOLUNTEERS:
If you've never had a CCSD volunteer badge, here's how to get started:
- Apply online through the official CCSD volunteer portal.
- You'll receive an email with fingerprinting instructions.
- Please note: Background checks can take up to 50 days to process.
- Once your badge arrives, complete the final steps listed below to activate your volunteer status on our campus.
RENEWING YOUR BADGE
If you already have a badge and have been fingerprinted with the last 5 years, you'll just need a new extension sticker. After the school year begins, follow these steps:
- Bring your current badge to the front office.
- Watch the two required training videos:

- Complete the Volunteer Acknowledgement Form.
- See the PVHS Office Manager to log your badge date, receive your sticker, and be added to our Volunteer list.
